TWINE was colorful in the abstract sense if not the visual sense. At any rate, it's miles ahead of DAD on any score. And both CR and QOS are parsecs better than both of them.

It's time to give DAD another watch, Khanosaur.

We shall see if Bond23 will be better than CR. Improving upon QoS should be doable I hope.

According to the Wilson hype, its Goldfinger all over again.

If thats true than I have it ranked in advance top 8, behind only the first 7 films.

It would be odd to see a Goldfinger vibe as it seems somewhat inconsistent with the pretensions lauded by 'new wave' fans... I am also unsure how it can be reconcilled with the 'emotional context and personal investment' that has been suggested.

It's possible for a film to be a lot of fun in the traditional sense, and have a good deal of emotional and thematic heft to it as well.

It's just that it works very, very rarely, and comes along once in a blue moon.

This film very well could be something special. They've had a lot of time to create a good story and assembly the team they want to make it.

It seems like everyone involved is extremely enthusiastic about it, which is good.

I think Craig is more or less vocalizing what the general feeling is around the project. They started on the right foot with CR, but kind of sidestepped and missed the mark with QOS. They know where they went wrong, and what areas needed improvement and now they're looking to move the series forward with a new movie that they feel will best represent the new direction started by CR.

Perhaps. It's just that Craig, MGW and others gave us similar hype for Quantum. This is strictly a personal opinion, but I don't need to hear any more hype. The film will be the proof, one way or the other.
