I love MILLA!!

Is it just my drink or does some of the action look quite impressive?

Gotta be your drink, Sharky. The trailer doesn't even give us much of a look at the action. So, unless you automatically go for brief, slow-mo, glamor action shots, the trailer doesn't offer much to get excited about.

Only good thing from that trailer is the Daft Punk music.

That's what I was talking about.

I was just impressed by two (almost split-second) shots. The first was the almost painterly one of the guys in white suits diving towards the camera in the foreground, with the helicopter things above, and the second was Mila kicking ass with that chain weapon against the Kubrick-like set.

Is there a good movie out there with Mila besides THE FIFTH ELEMENT? I'd watch anything with her, but she keeps making movies like ULTRAVIOLET.

I had the same reaction to this trailer as I did for the one to JOHN CARTER: meh.

I have to confess Milla is imo well worth watching in anything, likewise Ali Larter (who is sadly absent this time it seems) they save the movies from being totally dreadful but you just wish they had better material. Someone needs to pitch Jovovich and/or Larter as the villlians for the next Underworld movie, along with Beckinsale all in tight leather, kicking ass and err..errr.... I'll get me coat!

It's here!!!!!! Opened Friday. Gotta go with J7 here. Any new Resident Evil film is an event.

Can't wait to catch up with Alice and her ongoing battle with the Umbrella Corporation. Michelle Rodriguez is back as Rain too. Double-plus good!
