Our universe isn't real

Not to get into some kind of crazy FEMA Camps conspiracy theory or anything, but scientists have discovered something that could theoretically be pretty fucking crazy.

Like I said, this is all theoretical and we have no real hope of proving (or disproving) it at this point, but it's fascinating to me nonetheless.

Some highly respected astrophysicists, including Neil deGrasse Tyson, are saying they have discovered self-error-correcting binary code in the equations of string theory, meaning it's possible our universe is a simulation created by a supercomputer whose technology is unfathomably ahead of ours.

It also means we could all be highly advanced artificial intelligence.
