| Just logged in for the first time since I left, just to say hi. That said and done, I still LOATH that format they're using. I had an issue just making that one post because the quotations weren't working properly for no reason. FFS, they should just upgrade again, but for real. It's too aggravating. Anyway, off to the wine cellar. |

| The Facebook design was only one of many issues. The fact that the place was taken over by idiot children and that we couldn't post the word "tits" without getting a warning were two other problems.
Oh well. I'm not really sour over it anymore. I don't know why Page still is, especially if Mi6 is doing as well as they claim.
Or maybe he's just sick of seeing James Bond fan videos created with Legos. |

| That response only encourages me to try posting there again. If he wants me to fuck off, he'll have to ban me. |

| A good bit of subtle advertising for us there Python, hopefully a couple of the more grown-up members on there will see the post and decide to defect behind enemy lines.
Come to think of it, does anybody actually know why the reasonably respectable 'Keeping the British End Up' forums transformed into the monstrosity that is 'MI6 Community' overnight the little or no prior warning? |

Jesus. Once a c***, always a c***, I guess. I give them another few years until they run into an issue regarding copyright violations, or just simply run out of money. I'm sure Mi6 Magazine isn't exactly raking in the dough for them. We tried. No reason for me to ever visit that shitty website again. |

What's the difference? I'm afraid your knowledge of mammalian anatomy is a tad deficient. |

| I meant cu*t. Just to update everyone about the Facebook page: when I log on, I usually post recent Bond news by sharing from the official James Bond FB page. I've also been linking major forum discussions to the B&B Facebook page. Every now and then, I'll post other news or pictures--like news of the release of John Barry's THE QUILLER MEMORANDUM--just to keep things interesting. Python's offered to help out with this project, too, and he's now a manager of the FB page. We're gaining "Likes", slowly but surely. I'm just looking to hit 25 so we can get our own FB URL. |

When you post trailers and such, make the status or whatever, "What do you think of [such and such]?" Apparently that's how you do social networking, or at least according to the idiots I pay thousands of dollars a quarter to teach me. |

Looks like James Page and his cronies are still mad.
Or just jealous? Or shitstirring? I don't know. But he's riled, so I'd say our Facebook page has gotten the attention we sought from it. People in the Bond world know it's there, which is great. Mission part-accomplished, and Page's free ad over at MI6 was a nice gesture. With our forum here now wide open to the public, Page & Co (always with an eye on us as they are) must be perfectly aware of our statement that our facebook page was set up solely to advertise our forums and bring people over here. Yet still he lashed out. The fact of the matter is that our forums aren't modelled on Facebook and operate seamlessly, efficiently and quickly, while NuMI6 is a hastily whacked together, ugly-looking, blatantly transparent Facebook wannabe that operates as slow and sluggish as a half-squashed snail for many of it's users, and (the most sad fact of all) MI6 will remain that way because it's leader hasn't the balls to swallow his pride and make the kind of changes which would improve things over there, changes which would probably give him no cause to give even the slightest shit what we're doing over here. It's a miracle that an operation as small as ours is viewed as a threat to such a mass-exposed place as MI6, which magnifies Page's failure over there quite spectacularly. I wish M would make an offer of £30 million plus j7wild in exchange for the half a dozen decent members MI6 still has left. |

| I've been having our facebook page "like" several other pages associated with Bond such as Ian Fleming, the official Bond facebook page and HaphazardStuff who has been making some very good video reviews of Bond lately. I'm tempted to "like" MI6-HQ's facebook page, just to really rub it in James Page. Shall I? I doubt he'll return the favor, but that would show the real difference between us. |

Good idea. I was trying to figure that out last week, but gave up on it. - Quote :

I wouldn't be completely against it; however, to be honest, I think CBn provides better, timely news articles. If you "like" Mi6, then it might be good to "like" CBn and the other Bond fan sites, as well. Maybe M could offer his input, too. | Might as well. My idea of BOND AND BEYOND is that we're another Bond site, unique in personality and humor but overall we're all Bond fans and shouldn't get into some feud over site preferences like Page. |

I think any decent Bond-related content is fine to put a "like" on. Maybe some will return the favour too. |
