Has it even been established that nu-Bond was ever in the Navy?

I hope that they do not change that aspect of his past.

Well, I didn't want to go there, but yes, I have gotten that sort of vibe from Silva, especially when he gets close to Bond, their knees touching....Silva's hand almost on Bond's knee. Maybe Silva hates Bond so much that he idolizes him or fetishizes him. I think the blond hair may be a clue.

Then again, he's poorly dressed and his grooming is out of date, so Silva's probably not gay.

The obit M is typing up in the trailer is identical to the one in YOLT (except mentioning Turkey instead of Japan): Cmdr Bond, RNVR, CMG, etc.
