| More photoshop bullshit. Worst one is TB with a bored looking Connery. :x However, I do like the one for FRWL for being simple. http://www.mi6-hq.com/sections/articles/collecting_bluray_fox_2012_individual.php3 The thing that puzzles me the most is that some of them are using the original font style from the theatrical posters while others are using those that were featured on the SE DVDs. :| Stupid, they could have just done this. IT'S SO DAMN EASY. |

| Eh, I like them more than the current blu-ray covers. Just hope the blu-ray covers in the set will be better. |

| The irony is that the blu-ray set comes with a book featuring all the original posters, did it not occur to anyone at FOX that they might actually look great as blu-ray covers? |

| Where's OHMSS? p.s. TWINE's looks like the poster for Man On Fire and this one, it looks like Bond's arm is injured |

| I hope that the remaining half of the series is released in this style as well, it would be strange to just do it for half of the series. I am not sure what to make of these new covers just yet, they are quite simple and sharp, more like book covers really than blu-ray covers. The only real coplaints I have are that some of them look a little bit photo-shopped (although not nearly as badly as some of the previous Bond DVD releases) and the lack of the proper font for MR, FYEO, and LTK.
I am still battling with myself as to whether to get either the boxed-set or the individual releases, I think that I will wait until the first few reviews come out before diving in with either. |

Like I said, you'd think this would be a no-brainer. I would actually buy a complete set of original movie poster blu-ray covers. That's 20 films. CR and QoS already feature the movie poster covers. Actually make that 19 I would buy. The DAD double-disc dvd I have, does have the poster artwork as does my original release TWINE dvd, so make it 18. I need films 1-18 on disc with proper movie poster covers. Thank-you. That's the only way that I will re-purchase the blu-rays that I already have. After that I don't care what the covers look like, but I would like a complete set of dvd/blu-ray with the correct covers, for display purposes and my own visual satisfaction. |

Depends how fanatical a collector you are I guess. Personally I want the complete collection on blu-ray. I skipped the Ultimate dvd releases so I am basically upgrading from the SE dvds. So I do have all 13 blu-rays that have been released. But if you don't already have the blu-rays, the big box is a no-brainer. It's a great price for 22 films. My preference is to buy the remaining 9 individually, as I am sure they will turn up in retail outlets for $10.00 a pop in very short order. I haven't ruled out buying the big box set, but only if I really like the look of it. It would go nicely beside my Man From Uncle briefcase, complete-set collectable. |

| The FRWL and GF ones are great. Simple, classy. But then they bust out the Photoshop filters: Wtf? And although this one goes easier on the photoshopping, I have no words for the image of Dalton chosen: - CJB wrote:
Looks like one of those Fabio novel covers. What I'd like to know is when Bond grew so tall. Roger Moore, a god among men. |

So dark n' gritty... wait isn't this the one where Bond squeezes a sumo wrestler's arse cheeks? Not only that, it was also the only other Bond film besides Dr. No to not feature a helicopter in it - anywhere. |

| They're trying to mimic the Daniel Craig style of Bond covers. Don't know any other way to put it. Looks like they're going for a harmonious, uniform theme as they transition from the dvd releases into Skyfall. Everyone of these dvd covers is interchangeable. There's nothing unique about them, which is precisely why they would work as Daniel Craig covers. The minimalist approach, with just Bond and maybe one other actress or actor, seemed to have started with the U.S. one-sheet for DAD (with Brosnan and Berry pointing guns and no other background images) and continued unabated. |

I think you are on to something here with the minimalist approach. These covers make Rog look like a deep and introspective Bond. The Craig approach is being applied to the Rog era too. That's just odd. - AMC Hornet wrote:

Nice trivia. The only two Bond films not to feature a helicopter anywhere............will file that nugget into Bond memory banks, which I think already take up about half of my brain's memory capacity. |

| Bastards who designed those need shooting. Just give us the poster art already, or at least make the sleeves reversible to give us the choice.
And, on top of the ghastly artwork, who the f*ck thought it would be cool to bring back the ugly nu-fonts for FYEO and TB???? :x |

| Quite right.
When, oh when is EON going to see the light and beg Lazenby to take over producing, writing, directing, editing, starring in, scoring and promoting the Bond films? Clearly he's the only one who can do it all properly.
Shoot the bastards - all of 'em. |

| Looks like they've gone back to the "Dramatic Closeup with somewhat relevant stuff going on in the background/foreground" style that the SE DVD's and 90's VHS releases had. It's an improvement over what they had before, but not by much. Most of the covers are as vague, if not moreso than the worst SE cover. Thankfully, the internet is already hard at work producing sleeves to be proud of. Classy. Or at least classier. |

| Still beats me how two things which used to go hand in hand with the iconography of Bond films - the soundtracks and the posters - have been so hideously neglected to the point of total ignorance in the hands of the post-Cubby producers. It's not rocket science for either of these aspects to be improved upon, yet now it's almost bizarrely as if they're trying to simply out-crap their previous efforts. |

| I wonder why AVTAK, TLD, TND, CR and QOS are still yet to be revealed? I hope that the Craig blu-rays are in the same style as the pre-CR ones, if not then it will only further distance them from the 'original' series,
Here is the cover for the planned double-pack of CR and QOS: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Casino-Royale-Quantum-Solace-Blu-ray/dp/B0090NAGGG/ref=sr_1_1?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1345644576&sr=1-1 |

Actually I don't mind these covers so much, but I would prefer the original theatre posters. Otherwise these aren't bad as alternative covers, although Brozzer looks like a skinny bitch pretty boy, so toss that one. And Moore looks like he's trying too hard to bring the gravitas, but Sean and Laz look awesome as usual. Sean scares the crap out of me in that trumped up DAF pose. If I ever met him looking like that, I'd run for the hills. Sean Bond is one mean bastard. |
