Here's a thread for this wonderful composer, well known for his both concert works (Belshazzar's Feast, Violin Concerto, Cello Concerto, Troilus and Cressida, Spitfire Prelude and Fugue, Crown Imperial, his first two symphonies) and film scores (AS YOU LIKE IT, HENRY V, HAMLET, RICHARD III, MAJOR BARBARA, THE BATTLE OF BRITAIN).

Here's an excerpt from a 1981 documentary called 'Walton - at the Haunted End of the Day' - made two years before he died, available on a Decca DVD released in 2002.
