That's my point.

The good thing about the OCH (one click hosts) like Megaupload and Fileserve and many others that are no longer around was anonymity.

I don't download or upload anything if I have to register.

I definitely refuse to use a cloud service to store my files even if those files are not violating any copyright laws.

Using a cloud service is the same as handing your entire hard drive to a stranger.

External hard drives are cheap now.

I was at Fry's last week and you can get a 4 TB for less than $199.

I remember the first external hard drive I ever purchased was 80 GB and it cost me $150.

I only used MEGAUPLOAD every now and then, anyways.
