I wanted to like Paper Gods, Dog, I did, and it's not terrible. Just not good. Duran badly need a guitarist and there's this unemployed guy called Warren Cuccurullo.
Speaking of which, did you join any of his Private Parties?
I pointed and laughed...his shattered virility never recovered.

Joy Division song performed by New Order. I heard NO long before I ever heard JD. It was love at first listen with both.

Never seen New Order live. I wish I had done so in the 80s.
And here a very early live recording with Joy Division. Rocknroll.

New Order are playing in Copenhagen in September. I am contemplating going. Never seen them and they only do a few gigs this year, in Portugal, France, Denmark and England. I know they are planning a live album, so maybe they are recording for that? It is a long way, and a bit expensive, so I guess it depends on wether I can get some good company. If I do go, I hope they play much of their early stuff.

You live in Denmark. How far away can Copenhagen be?

If I do go in September, this is the one song they have to play. Right?

Perhaps my Danish geography is tilt, but that seems bloody impossible.

I live in the Northern part of Denmark, called Norway.

I guess that's why they call it Norway...

So, I have decided not to go. Too much money for too little, I am staying in the country.

I remember this was extensively played on MTV at the time.
