We're promised classic Python sketches, but performed with a 'modern and topical' slant. So ... the possible last-ever live hurrah of a team who truly broke new comedic ground and more power to them, or a bunch of sad old men trying to recapture past glories?

I come down firmly on the side of 'more power to them', but I know not everyone necessarily will.

I suspect a bit of both. I'd like to think one last outing of a group of friends (or friendly enough types). Probably have to sell my house to see the show. Or get there.

Chapman will be there shaking his head in spirit. "No, far too silly..."

It'll never be the same without Chapman. Call me cynical, but I bet this is just to pay off Cleese's alimony.

Wouldn't be all that surprised though it'll probably be more lucractive and successful than the actual Alimony Tour.

So not even the truckload they rake in through SPAMALOT can pay for their ex-wives?  

They've added another 4 02 gigs, such was the speed that the first sold out at. Too much to hope that it might turn into a full-blown tour?
