I am intrigued by the practical realities of the UK leaving the EU.
What is their relation with the rest of the union like after the "divorce"?

Was the age sample from a poll (I'm assuming the real ballot was secret)?

On the final day I think the reality dawned on a lot of people and 'awareness or fear' of change kicked in.

As to a disparity in voting intent across ages I think again its a generally case of the young being less experienced and more naïve (not to mention a general lack of understanding of consequence) that makes them more willing to take the risk and lowering the voting age was a cynical tactic of the yes camp.

To me the arguments that I believe mean we are better together with Scotland also mean we are better in the EU...but that's not to say the EU is what it should be atm and it certainly has influence in areas that imo should be strictly localised.

A sustainable argument. However, independence from the UK, but remaining within the EU is just plain irrational. Or an oil-grab.
