I'm sorry, but this film may have to do the impossible: make me forget what I read about it in those leaked Sony emails and script. I was hoping that this would be a one-two punch, like Goldfinger/Thunderball was to Connery, or Spy/Moonraker for Moore but the script and the emails have so thoroughly spooked me that I'm not sure what I feel about the movie right now.

What is the most disturbing thing you read in the leaked emails? I've begun to forget myself.

The Idris Elba thing. Cause a "black b***" is so sacrilegious.

I know, I just can't imagine anything being as disturbing for Gravy.

Bond's revelation to Oberhauser at the very end of the film; the fact that Blofeld literally doesn't show up in the movie until the very last scene, and even then he's not fully formed. With SPECTRE you have the equivalent of THE PHANTOM MENACE: we are told the "villain" is a bad guy, but we're not shown, and the character doesn't really become formed or interesting until much later down the line (in a set of sequels one would have to presume). So, for all the effort of getting a two-time Oscar winning actor, it's all for naught. UNLESS.......................EON pulls a Christopher Nolan on us and hides all of Waltz's Blofeld scenes and pictures from us like Nolan did with Eckhart's Two-Face (most people assumed Two Face would show up in the third Nolan Batman film; I was shocked that he was not only fully formed in THE DARK KNIGHT, but that he had a big role).

The main plot point. I call it a "point" because there's basically no plot. SPECTRE's writing will make QOS look like David Mamet.

The absolute uselessness of the Madeline Swann character.

Correct. She's going to be this movie's version of Christmas Jones: a character in search of a reason for being in the movie.

Well, Christmas Jones also being played by Denise Richards kind of made that a double whammy.

It's a Hecker & Koch VP9, a USP developed for the German Army. The BTS footage clearly shows Bond acquire it by disarming a redshirt.
