Did Diana Rigg's daughter Rachael Stirling audition for Vesper?

That would have been something - Bond's two loves from the same family. Almost something straight out of SP.

Not that I want OHMSS remade, who does?, but always say that if they did she could play Tracy. But versus Craig, it's hard to picture. She is her mother's daughter though in what she comes out with.

I never realized her daughter was an established actress but after reading that interview she seems like a lovely lass.

She's excellent in Their Finest, with my lovely Gemma. 

Always saw Stirling as Moneypenny rather than a Bond girl, to be honest.

The quirky Detectorists had Dame Diana play Stirling's mother in the show -nice touch. Guess it would've been too much to have Lazenby as the estranged father.



See what you mean perhaps Stirling working better as a 'Penny. Maybe in the next couple of films the return of Ms Smallbone?

Likely M's (Dench, not Fiennes) daughter who turns out to be Miss Taro.

Sadly, that might well happen. Even in death, Dench's M has managed to pop up regardless.
