| No of course not the nightmare with the living ferret stuck to a man's upper lip. I've always felt the 1974 film is a masterpiece of Lumet's genius and can never be outdone. 12 men and true. It'sh a shound shyshtem. I went with Telly and his tree trimming of course, but any of the others are great though it does miss the nasty little Xmas present of the attache case. I'm still bitter at 60's kids for getting a briefcase action toy when in the 90's there was absolutely no Bond merch to speak of whatsoever. I bought old used briefcases in secondhand stores as a kid just to try and FRWL-ize them to no avail. Doing this and trying to make my watch cut ropes, act as a magnet and shoot darts never worked unfortunately. I needed a satellite Q-branch office. |

| I searched long and hard for watch lasers and Bond's Sony Ericsson from TND. I was very disappointed. The best I managed from hiding a laser pen underneath a watch. Eon really didn't get their toys in stores for Christmas. |

| My Dad said that after LALD came out he brought the watch that Bond had (I guess it came out in some form). Said that it was useless as he had to keep putting shopping bags etc down all the time just to press it for the time! |

| Ah, you must mean the Pulsar! That now goes for a decent amount among collectors I think. The LALD 5513 submariner is my dream prop/watch but I'd love even one of Roger's later Seikos since that is a tiny bit more affordable. ;)
I too have tried to find the silver Ericsson cell phone to no avail. The item I wish I had most every day is the Phillips key finder which apparently was only made into a toy prop as a promo tie in.
I need to pick up the tie in LALD tarot set but they changed the back from red to I think yellow for some reason. |

| The idea of Bond films having a toyline for children always seemed weird to me. Bond should be something mainly aimed at older audiences, which is what made them enticing for younger viewers because they felt like movies they shouldn't see. |

| That's true. That was certainly part of the appeal when I was watching as a kid. |

| Merry Christmas all.
May you and your families have a harmonious day that's not at all like the brotherly relationship between James Bond and Ernst Stavro Blofeld because that's a thing now. |

Was just me and Mum, but a good day nonetheless. Hotel restaurant 3-course Xmas lunch helped ... I sincerely apologise to my toilet for what I put it through this morning . And the Bond In Motion calendar was amongst my gifts . |

And the Bond In Motion calendar was amongst my gifts . Lovely way to spend Christmas. Always good to receive Bond gifts. I got the TWINE soundtrack. Agonising to know it was so close and yet so far... Yet to give it a listen but hopefully today at some point. |

| Ahh, NightFire ... with Brosnan's likeness but someone else's voice. Isn't copyright weird? |

| I remember playing NightFire for the first time and once Bond spoke it was really a bizarre experience. Funnily, they had a much more convincing voice actor mimicking Brosnan's voice and inflections for the TND and TWINE games that it's a wonder they didn't just rehire him for NightFire.
Looking back, EA's run on the Bond license was pretty hit and miss. I wish Rare had retained the license after GE just to see what they could have done more with the adaptations. |

| And then they just hired Brosnan anyway for Everything Or Nothing. |

| Film stars voicing for video games was such a big deal back then, like Ray Liotta voicing in one of the GTA games, who probably has the funniest rants of all of them.
