Artwork? It's one image with a bit of writing. |

| I was being derisive in my post... It's an official poster, and like the others, it's terrible. It could be for any generic action film. |

| Water is wet, the sky is blue, women have secrets, and KKBB is derisive towards a Craig film. Just another day. |

| It's like they keep freeze framing to apply poster graphics to random stills. |

Pretty much. You'd think the 6 month delay would've given them more time to sharpen up the marketing. |

| It doesn't even bother me anymore because it's become so normalized and expected not just from EON but the entire film industry. Movie posters of yesteryear were designed to be framed on a wall where you could see all the intricacies of the artwork. Posters today are designed to be little digital thumbnails you see on your PC or smartphone when scrolling for online tickets, streaming rentals/purchases, etc. The TLD poster would look great framed on a wall, but its beauty doesn't lend itself to the size of a postage stamp. |

| Yep. The days when posters in display frames (maybe also with a small selection of stills) under a 'Coming Soon' plaque in a cinema lobby and a trailer or two only ever seen preceding the movie you'd come to see (or on a video cassette) were the only marketing options available to studios are long gone. |

I think the Moore posters, like many until DAD, display a great degree of creativity and are far more inviting. They certainly entice me to consider the film more than a screenshot. - MP wrote:

Interesting point. However, with the sheer amount of posters they've released, it's not like they're attaching a single image and using that across the board so to rely on the power of repetition and association to advertise. |

| Just watched a interesting programme on Sky arts called 24x36 about the movie poster industry, with comments from the designers and collectors,i hadn't realised what a big industry it was. Most of the programme was given over to a American company called Mondo who's business it is to re design and market posters from movie classics, they have to jump through hoops trying to get the necessary permissions but these things sell for big bucks,of course they also work on original titles and commissions. Also commentary from vintage poster designers and how they now view the industry, if you are interested in the topic i can recommend this programme |

| Meant to say ... am quite pleased that even in these 'woke' times, we still have a Bond villain with scarring and a hint that it's revenge for this that is at least partially motivating him. |

| Best thing about the delay is that I have no reason to watch CR, QOS or SP anymore this year. I sincerely hope they've started the search for Bond actor #7 and started developing the next script, if not the next two scripts, so to bounce back quickly. They wanted a break between movies... these six years should recharge them enough for the decade. |

| The official announcement from Eon: - The Official James Bond 007 social media accounts wrote:
- MGM, Universal and Bond producers, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, today announced the release of NO TIME TO DIE, the 25th film in the James Bond series, will be delayed until 2 April 2021 in order to be seen by a worldwide theatrical audience. We understand the delay will be disappointing to our fans but we now look forward to sharing NO TIME TO DIE next year.
I look forward to another 2 trailers and 47 posters. |

| I'm sure after trailer #3 people will feel like they've seen the whole thing and not give a shyte.
If Cubby's well-oiled machine was still running, we would've had Bond 25 in 2017 and #26 in 2019. Just bad luck that after all the delays and dilly-dallying EON was forced to try and release a film in what turned out to be a pandemic year. |

| It's not just bad luck for EON, it's bad luck for cinema. So many films have now been delayed again and again because nobody knows when the hell things are supposed to get normal. November seemed like a reasonable postponement at the time it was decided, given the amount of prep and that it's a month Bond has made its regular release time.
TENET couldn't bring enough audiences back to cinema. MULAN didn't do well internationally or on the Disney+ streaming site. So Hollywood has pretty much regarded 2020 as a write off. |

| Disappointing news, i know i'm in a minority around here but i was really looking forward to seeing it. I kinda geddit but whilst this fukcin virus isn't going anywhere i still think the film could be released as arranged, and whilst cinemas can only accommodate a third of their capacity why can't they just show the film round the clock, i would not mind dragging my arse to the cinema at 2am in fact i would prefer it...now i'm pissed!!! ...but this is no time to cry |

| I get it, but I'm pissed off too. NTTD was going to be an all-too-rare highlight of This Fucking Year, but not now. I've seen the soundtrack track listing; one track title - - Spoiler:
'Poison Garden'
- intrigues, for those who are fans of the novels as well. |

| Cineworld have announced that all of its cinemas will shut due to the further delay of the release of NTTD, another aspect which should have been considered by MGM, we may finish up with no cinemas to watch the film if things carry on. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/cinema-giant-cineworld-to-shut-after-007-fiasco-d2rvdxjgw |

| Wilson, Broccoli, and Fukunaga along with many other prominent artists and film producers have sent a letter to congress to consider a bail out for theater chains as a means preserving the arts of entertainment so that cinema can still have a future for when the time comes to reopen in a safer environment. In fact they signed it days before the postponement.
