Screenings and such.

I'm excited. My dad always puts newspaper articles and the like on the steps going up to my room. It's annoying, and 99.9% of the time I don't give a shit about them. But he told me "some actor named John Sayles is gonna be Carmichael's bookstore", and I shot up. I pointed out that he's really more of a director. But I wouldn't have even known if he hadn't said anything.

Went and saw John Sayles. He read a chapter from his new book, and there was a signing. I didn't stay for the signing. He answered some questions. He said he wrote a few drafts of JURASSIC PARK IV, but he's not sure if anything he wrote will be used. He said that he's been working to get the rights to make a new MATEWAN DVD. I think he said a new transfer has been done. He was introduced by Will Oldham, so that was cool.
