| I can honestly see them going either way with this. QoS received decidedly mixed reviews, so they may want to distance B23 from it. Then again, they may not want to throw away an organization they've taken the time to establish. I'd wager that whether to feature Quantum or not has been a big talking point during B23's pre-production. EON do seem to be making the story up as they go along.
Usually one can't find a firmer opinion than mine ;) but on this matter I have mixed feelings. Anyone on B&B have a thought on Quantum? |

| I don't like Quantum, I don't care about Quantum, but I DO think it should return, because if it doesnt then I'll feel I wasted even MORE time watching Quantum of Solace than I already do. They need to bring it back and defeat it just to give some closure to all of this. |

| QUANTUM isn't really defined well beyond a bunch of spies having meetings at an Opera so I can't say whether I want them or not. But I think they will come back and if so I would like more of their presence instead of having a frontman for them like Greene who was also underdeveloped as a villain. |

| I would be happy if it was written as more like a SPECTRE-type organisation in future Bond films. Otherwise, I'm not bothered about whether it returns or not. |

| Because QUANTUM is so ill-defined, there are any number of ways for it to show up in the next one. I would like to see it as a full-out SPECTRE-style op, minimizing the real-world politics perhaps, but then again, I'd like to see Mr.White turn out to be Blofeld too (still don't get why they have a Mr White and a Mr Green(e) and yet won't let QT direct.)

| I would like Quantum to return, though audience members may have forgotten about them. |

| If Quantum has its fingers in everything, as Mr. White boasted, I think its presence will always be felt. Even if only a mere delegate.
Mr. White's character wasn't bad at all...but Dominic Greene was a bug-eyed creep. |

I'll be surprised if audience members remember James Bond by the the time the movie comes out. |

| I am also open to Quantum returning if only for closure. I think its a virtual certainity that Eon will at least do this. They can't very well just leave things dangling.
Also, I wouldn't be averse to Quantum being fully realized as a more escapist Spectre type organization with a big boss and lairs and headquarters with creative set design, maybe some uniformed henchmen, plans for world domination - just like the good old days. |

| I don't care if Quantum return but I echo the sentiments of turning them into a Spectre type organisation. |

| The head honcho should be called Mary Quantum. Having cornered the market in Bolivian lollypops and watersports she's now looking for a complete makeover and facial. |

Aye. It all makes sense. Quantum's next step will be to monopolise the mud pits of South Africa. |

Those sites were ok but what I am talking about are Ken Adam designed sets from scratch as opposed to filming on found locations. Sets designed for Bond as opposed to making use of real locations. Creative and original set design has been mising from both of the Craig films. I'm talking DN's lair and entire complex. The Whyte House penthouse set from DAF etc, various lairs and complexes built into natural rock formations, LALD's, "behind the wall" Filet of Soul sets and of course Kananga's ultimate grand finale lair. Ken Adams designs added an almost futuristic quality to the Bond sets. He liked to create a sensation of space in many of his designs. DAD did a nice job with the ice palace as did GE with Trevelyan's underwater complex etc. |

| From recent films, I enjoyed the real-life locations like the stunning Lake Como or the Bregenz opera more than the generic villain headquarters in the Brosnan films. I'd only like to see a return of the grand villain's layers if it'll be something truly original to rival Ken Adam's works. Otherwise, there are plenty of fascinating real locations. |

| I guess I usually associate Ken Adam with internal sets, the outside being something that exists in the real world, so you can have both?
i.e. Dr No is a real island outside, as is Goldfinger's Fort Knox and Bolfeld's volcano, but once we go inside we enter the wonderful world of Ken Adam
granted Stombergs lair includes an external fantasy
and Drax has a space station, although his earthly lair is behind a real waterfall

| Nothing of Quantum that has been shown interests me. They're bad guys. They wear suits. They go to the opera. Maybe they even like orange Tang.
I can't see anything warranting their return. Let's put the reboot stuff to one side and have a standalone film. |

| To me Quantum exists as a house of cards. One of their major financiers has to get money back by gambling, the clean-up man gets shot in the leg and captured, an internal mole has to blow his cover to rescue the other guy, a whole bunch of them and other bad people get caught at an opera on camera, a main asset blurbs an incredible amount of detail about the organization in the desert, which then leads to a guy in Russia working on the Canadians, in which then we can only assume he provides a payload of secrets.
"Money is not as important to our organization as knowing who to trust." Yeah right! Everyone in Quantum has a secret to tell and is eager to tell it it seems. To me there doesn't seem to be a grand threat to them. If the next film can present them as one, fine, I'll be cool with it. But at the rate they are being taken apart, I can't help but feel that they exist as a very tiny threat. |

| I hope Quantum come back in the next film and the whole thing gets tied up in the mother of all battles. Sick of crap action finales in the last few Bond films, it's time for a 100 vs 100 MI6 vs Quantum epic showdown, complete with jumpsuits, stuntmen jumping off trampolines and falling over railings to the sound of Wilhelm screams, fights that don't look like Bourne and imaginative sets which gleam in glorious technicolor, hopefully all of it set to the sound of anyone other than David Arnold. And no f*cking gadgets.
Crap, I just woke up.
