I suspected that. The remark was so over-the-top that I concluded that #1 it was parody and #2 he/she must be Jewish. I think that sort of dead-pan humor, which is especially hard to discern on the Internet, is even harder across cultures and different continents. I was raised on that sort of humorless-humor...the sort of straight-faced remark CJB made, so I kind of got it, but I can also understand how some might have missed it, especially the younger generations who have just recently finished their program of indoctrination and brainwashing (i.e. college graduates) and believe everything is racist, sexist, or homophobic that doesn't purport to be 100% supportive of [fill-in-the-blank-with-minority-of-your-choice].

Nice for you that you were raised in that way, but there is a lot of anonymus insulting on the internet and therefor one should be carefull how to apply certain phrases. And I dislike the reasoning that people of Jewish origin can insult themselves or how black people (or is it coloured?) can use certain insulting words like the N-word.

But I can understand how some folks think that they have the wisdom that they can tell other folks when something is offensive or not due to their indoctrination of knowledge.

Calling -lack people "Coloured/colored" is considered racist and offensive in the United States. They prefer to be called "People of Color".
