Just an aside, it's not impossible for a Jew to be antisimitic. So that alone certainly isn't a free ticket. That said I didn't think it was intended as anything but sarcastic by CJB.

On the other hand I reject the strangely ludicrous suggestion it was the insulter's prerogative to decide whether the insulted has a right to feel insulted.
