| Have you read any Lee Child or David Stone, Hilly? Two thriller writers definitely worth your time. Stone, alas, writes some sadistically violent stuff, so you'd better have a strong stomach if you're gonna get between those covers. |

| I fear Child isn't for me for whatever reason in spite of growing up reading Cussler and Clancy. I've sadly not heard of Stone.
But the mention of him makes me remember that I've read a fair share of Robert B. Parker. Love the Jesse Stone TV movies. Well, I like Jesse Stone. I watched Spenser with my Dad when I was very little.

| How about Gerald Seymour? Have you read any of his stuff? Terribly underrated thriller author, IMO. |

Well, well, well. It looks like the old gang's getting back together. I wonder what doublo, Retrokitty, Daniel, Miles, tiffywint and Lala are up to? |

| I trust the old gang are all okay. Me, I just had to check back to trusted friends to get a spoilerific lowdown on NTTD, because for all of five minutes I was becoming excited about seeing it. For those five minutes, I'd probably just forgotten that there were two remaining "It's personal" boxes which BB somehow hadn't ticked until now. |

Sadly not. Now that I'm signed up to the library down here I might check a few out. - Lazenby. wrote:

Surviving, Laze, surviving. Fantastic to see you, as PK says, the old gang is coming together. Even if it took NTTD. |

| Thanks, CJB. Coursework beckons (deadline the 12th) and I think you chaps need a rest from my commentaries :D
It won't be a long pause all the same! |

| Give 'em hell, Hilly (if that's not too odd a sentiment to apply to coursework). |

| I'm back (for a bit at least). NTTD got me out of my hiatus. So are many of the old gang still at all active on here? |

Good to see you again, Vesper. It's a bit crazy to think I joined the original incarnation of this forum back when DC had only just been announced as James Bond. Now seems an eternity ago. |

| I believe I was also from the class of '04. Back then I thought DAD was the nadir of the franchise... oh, the naïveté of youth. |
