Got a lot of nostalgia for the original Men In Black. 'Twas the first English-language film I watched in the theatres.

Not really looking forward to this. The first M.I.B. was and still is awesome, but the second one was a major disappointment. It's not horrendously bad or anything, it's just weird in an uncomfortable way.

I enjoyed the first film a lot when it came out. I missed the second one in theaters but when I rented it I was bored to tears (I remember being very disappointed Linda Fiorentino did not return). Seems Barry Sonnenfeld never recovered after WILD WILD WEST, he had a nice little run in the 90s. I'm skeptical of this, and Linda Fiorentino is not around again I see. Boo.

Shook my head at every image of Tommy Lee Jones.
And yet the whole thing in general. Zut alors.

Doesn't look too bad to me. It just looks like a "Men in Black" movie.

If Will Smith doesn't release a promotional single, it doesn't count.
I miss that part of mid-late 90's blockbusters, where they hire a band to make a tie in song to sell "inspired by the motion picture" albums.

I hear you. My favourite was always Jamiroquai's Deeper Underground from GODZILLA, though it wasn't recorded for the film.
Such a killer riff, I believe played on a Moog.
Great recent live performance here:

Agreed. It reached its peak with this rousing R. Kelly song.

Not gonna listen to it. Is it about R kelly peeing on a girl?

I loved MiB as a kid, and still would gladly watch it if it's on. Haven't seen the second one. Can't really tell by this trailer if the third one will be any good.

That and the Bat insignia.
Song always gives me a good laugh because it's not only such an obvious attempt at making another "I Believe I Can Fly" but the lyrics are gold (like his pee).

I watched this yesterday and I kept getting a sense of Deja Vu while I was in the movie theater and the movie was playing out.
Now I remembered where I've seen
Spoiler:
the ending
before!!
Spoiler:
The Star Trek TOS Gary Seven Assignment: Earth episode!!
