| On the short video now on 007.com, Michael G. Wilson says, "Cubby Broccoli made Dr. No." Obviously, Saltzman's involvement ended in 1975, but when his name comes up in connection with the early films he often comes across as an eccentric crank.

http://bit.ly/v2BZm1 No, that honor will always belong to George Lazenby (hell, even the spell-check here at Bond & Beyond doesn't recognize Lazenby). I wouldn't read too much into Michael's comments, though; Barbara probably typed them out for him and then pointed a gun at him (off-camera) to make him say it. |

Of course, MGW first worked full-time for Eon as a lawyer during the Broccoli-Saltzman breakup so it's possible he does have personal animosity toward Saltzman. |

| They've been crediting the company as "ALBERT R. BROCCOLI'S EON PRODUCTIONS" for 15 years now. It's not surprising that Broccoli's kids are giving him more credit than Saltzman. More of a family thing than animosity, but I wouldn't rule out the latter entirely either.
Just remembered there was no "in memory of" credit for Saltzman in GE, which came out a year after his death. But Cubby got his a year after his death. |

| Who's Saltzman? Yeah. His producing credits outside of Bond are more impressive than Broccoli's. |
