I just put a quote in my signature and it isn't showing up on my posts. Can somebody turn the ability to have text signatures back on? Pretty please?

We had signatures in the early days of the forum but, upon asking the members whether they liked having them or not, a majority voted against them, citing reasons such as board cluttering and the already-available option of writing anything you'd like to write in the sections underneath your avatar. Thus it would probably only make sense to bring signatures back if the majority of the members wanted them.

But yes, no problem if anyone wants to set up a poll to determine whether the majority are in favour or not.

I'm not a fan. They really break of the flow of conversation.

Agreed. I think avatars are good enough for the purpose of instant recognition. Signatures would add unneeded clutter.

Agreed with Fae and CJB on this, TBH. It'd make the boards look messy and break the clean flow of the posts.

Why are some people's profile names changing? Not that it's a bad thing, necessarily, but I don't know what to call Erica Ambler or Perlagu Khan...one day they are Avarice and Ed Tomalowsky(?) and they next day they are going by a different name. Just wondering...

Erica Ambler's the name that bloke had at MI6 from 2006-09, until he was banned. Perligau Khan's is the name he had at both MI6 and Cb.n.

I bought Avarice on 30-days approval. I wasn't very happy with the terms of the licence as it didn't allow me to sexually harass young Oppers.

I took a look at my old Erica Ambler contract and found full sexual harassment privileges were included for the same price.

I can now tell Oppers to get her tits out without fear of any impudent backtalk from her.

When I joined I seriously considered going by a different name. I mean, come on, it's fucking weird. But it stuck with me, because people only know me by my python.
