This the general catch-all thread for all Bond related music. Sort of like the film score or "last song you listened to" thread.
Just found this Bond theme remix by Paul Dunphy. Bangers.

It may be the innumerable beers I've had, but I thought that was pretty good and catchy.

I was at a John Barry tribute concert by the Ulster Orchestra last night with my Mum ... it was called Bond And Beyond, no less :) .
Here's what was played (pieces are the Main Theme unless otherwise indicated) -
Out Of Africa The Living Daylights - (Main Theme, If There Was A Man, Where Has Everybody Gone?) Born Free You Only Live Twice (with vocals) The Man With The Golden Gun (with vocals) Dances With Wolves - John Dunbar's Theme Bond Medley - (Dr No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball)
Second half
The Lion In Winter OHMSS - We Have All The Time In The World Octopussy - All Time High (with vocals), The Palace Fight Zulu Midnight Cowboy Moonraker (with vocals) Diamonds Are Forever (with vocals)
Encore - Goldfinger (with vocals)
It was a fabulous evening, found myself welling up during We Have All The Time In The World ... such a beautiful piece of music.

Not always. Shark and I saw it butchered by Rumer last year.

This was painful on so many levels. Fecking lifeless. Like she wasn't trying or putting...something into it. Not exactly how Barry or even Armstrong would want to be remembered.

Great voice, but terrible arrangement.

Good to hear that, Shark. Isn't that the usual arrangement?
BTW, I wasn't paying close attention, but were Dalton or Lazenby in that montage?

They had a clip of Bond and Tracy in the barn in the montage, think I saw a hint of Dalton.

Maybe. I'll have to check the performance he did at AFI tribute to Sean . Nevertheless, the strings and brass sound shrill in that nasty digital way. There's no meat in the arrangement. It's also in the wrong key. Too few people understand that songs lose their emotional power when transposed to the wrong key. THUNDERBALL works best in Bbm (original main title recording), Bm (ditto, except played on a PAL DVD), Cm, Fm (the instrumental heard throughout Sir John's score), or F#m (you get the gist). But Abm? Bitch, please. Might as well hire Rumer to finish the hat trick.

Love this arrangement. Surprisingly faithful to the original recording.

One of the most sophisticated cues for any Bond film. Haunting as hell.

after the recent DAF-expanded purchase I've taken a growing shine to Moon Buggy Ride. I like the sound at the start...that 'twinkling' at 0.58 ---and around 2.06 largely for the shot it accompanied.

Just been reading that Garbage's TWINE benefits from having its tempo increased to 140 bpm, and that the trick is to keep its pitch the same. Apparently such timestretching can be performed with free software such as Audacity if anyone wants to give it a go.
I'd certainly be interested to hear the result....

Great, thank you. If it's worth hearing, could you post the result on Soundcloud or similar?
