Finally caught THE WOLVERINE. Not bad. Not great, but I thought it was worthwhile and does a good job of wiping away the turd that is ORIGINS, to finally give the character at least one good solo flick. Overall, I'd say it was a solid effort.

I'd do something like this for other comic franchises, but nobody uses this place any more anyways. RIP Bond and Beyond. Tits, smokes, and bourbon on the rocks.

New trailer's just been released. Nice to see the series finally back in the hands of a decent director.

Still not a fan of James McAvoy, though.

Looks to me like just another business-as-usual X-MEN flick.

Include me out.

Seeing Xavier talking to Xavier was great. I can't wait to see this, even though I think Captain America: The Winter Soldier will be a better film (due, in no small part, to the fact that I love Helicarriers).

I'll be happier when they can make an X Men movie without Magneto tbh, but this does look to be a worthwhile effort.

Well thats more X-Man than X-Men and pretty appalling by any standards, but tbh I have no problem with another Wolverine Movie or even a Magneto movie as long as its done well. Their presence in X-Men as a group though tends to unbalance the movie and undermine larger elements that imo really would make a film more surprising and interesting.

Well, other than X-Men Origins: Wolverine, you're not likely to see an X-Men movie without Magneto. He's the iconic X-Men villain, and if he's not the villain, he's likely to be an ally. If there's ever a movie with Apocalypse in it (holding out hope for the next one after Days of Future Past), that's how it'll be.

I thought at first that this double cast thing is only good for having some scenes for the trailer, so that everybody and their mother recognizes at least someone on the screen. But that trailer is really good. How the film seems to deal with Xavier´s faith intrigues me.
