Also, as a child of the 70s myself, I found Now and Then quite delightful.

I'll pay money to see Meg Ryan and Sandra Bullock in anything, but as beautiful as Nicole Kidman is, I don't go out of my way for her. After seeing Annette Bening in The Seige and American Beauty, I'll pay money to avoid seeing her. I suppose it's because she reminds my of my ex.

I watched Showgirls for the scenes of Vegas and for the tits, but the script and acting put me off so much I won't rewatch it for either.

Moonlighting may have been a series, but does it count as chick-oriented? My ex (Annette Bening) didn't like it, so I never got to watch when it was new, but my new love enjoys it, so we're working our way through the first three seasons.

Bridesmaids was pretty good. I wouldn't consider "Before Sunrise" a chick flick, but it was good. Same with Say Anything.
