Did anyone catch David Milch's and Michael Mann's Luck?

With talents like that involved it's hard to believe it was as bad as people say.

I heard it got good around episode three or four... though I watched the pilot on the treadmill and found myself staring out the window instead. It was surprisingly dull, which was disappointing because I liked all the talent involved.

Apparently Milch and Mann barely talked to each other though and getting them in a room together was like herding cats. I suspect that explains part of why it didn't meet the sum of its parts. That or Milch is still stuck in 'John From Cincinatti' land. I do find it funny that Milch wound up being left strictly to do the scripts and he still couldn't get them in on time

Not the most qualified comments. I plan to watch the whole thing when it airs here.

Have not seen it as it has not yet made it to these shores. I'm surprised it got the axe this quickly though...

They wanted to axe the show and now found a reason to do so and make it feel good and animal friendly. Blame the producers..........
