Ironside
"Bubble, Bubble, Toil and Murder"
typical late Ironside fare. Young Jodie Foster, good ol' John Schuck and Paul Carr (unfortunate Kelso in the 2nd Trek pilot, panicky Seaman Carr in Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea) are joined in this episode of witchcraft, briefly, by Rod Serling.
And Don Mitchell's fro man. Every season it was bigger.

The Quatermass Conclusion with John Mills from the late 70's
Yes the production reeks of the 70's with hippy steroetypes and embarassing fashion, but the script and characters are still awesome and the idea sharp. I wonder if new Hammer might make an effort to bring it up to date?

My favourite was that thing that brought to mind Del Boy's Robin Reliant van.

could've done with an entire episode centred on that thing on a road trip. Kept waiting for it to go over or to rear on its hind wheels sending May and Clarkson tumbling before careering into a Chinese cop car.

Between Top Gear and the aforementioned Being Human, Sunday nights on the telly are shaping up nicely.

Two and a Half Men with Ashton Wotsit Mr Ex Demi Moore.
He's funnier than Charlie Sheen playing Charlie Sheen.

Watched the Australian premiere of 'Revenge' tonight. Quite good. The acting is impressive, but some parts of the script are predictable... Still, quite solid, though not to the standard of Desperate Housewives and Downton Abbey.

Southland, the complete First Season 2-DVD set
Best cop show on TV right now!
No big shoot outs, no fancy car chases, no crazy stunts, no big explosions.
Just pure Human Drama!!

The first part of Cambridge Spies. Samuel West though a decent actor remains somewhat iffy at times, well his facial expressions tend to consist of smelling a fart or some such. Toby Stephens terribly British and Tom Hollander in full couldn't give a toss mood. In fact Stephens and Hollander are who I like in these episodes, at least the central part. Rupert Pretty Boy Jones couldn't care much about.
Written by Peter Moffat it sooner or later features Benedict Cumberbatcherbatcherbatcher in a very early role I'd imagine. Pre-Hawking.
In lieu of screencaps for the entire thing make do...

Finished Veronica Mars, Seasons 1 and 2 (44 episodes) (2004-2006)
Now looking to get a hold of the 3rd and final season. Joss Whedon calls this "the best show ever".
This is the snappiest, freshest, wittiest, funniest teen show ever made. Veronica Mars is teen detective. Both seasons 1 and 2 had long running murder mystery plots, rife with red herrings that kept you riveted from episode to episode.
Kristen Bell rocks as VM but the guys that populate her world are real funny too.

Grimm
Entertaining. Surprisingly good, despite the cringing cliches ("I'm dying - oh and by the way, you have supernatural powers and are the last of your kind, and I wish I had more time to tell you everything but .." kark ... "

Fae you should be watching Veronica Mars. She's smarter and sassier than Sookie even, and just as good looking.
VM is now my favourite teen drama.

:affraid: Say it ain't so. I thought evey guy wanted to date her and every girl wanted to be her.:)
I like this clip, where she makes fun of Canada. btw we don't speak like she pretends we do, unless one lives in the woods with the bear and moose maybe. A good chunk of America though I think is convinced we all do live in the woods, and live off back-bacon and maple syrup.

Star trek series 1 episode 1- 4: I bought the new enhanced version on dvd and it looks so beautifull, in this style it beats the future ST shows hands down.

The Professionals
I don't recall the name of the particular episode, but Roger Lloyd-Pack plays a hitman with a hurrendous accent - odd to see him in a role like this. He'll forever be Trigger. Ed Bishop ( 8) ) also appears, but he's just playing himself really.
