John Barry's flat to feature in SKYFALL

Still photos of Dame Judi Dench as "M" filming Skyfall in London, appear to show her leaving John Barry's former apartment in Cadogan Square, which we assume now belongs to his wife.

The apartment is empty and available for rental so it's perfectly feasible that Laurie could have allowed filming there for a few days, especially given her long-standing friendship with Barbara Broccoli.

Was this merely used as somewhere for Dame Judi to rest between takes in Cadogan Square, or is it going to double as M's or even James Bond's private London residence?

Certainly the interior is rather grand and admirably suited to a person of their standing, though one imagines scenes of this kind would normally be shot in the studio,

I wondered how EON would throw in a Barry tribute for the 50th anniversary, nice to see they did it in some fashion for Skyfall.

It would be cool to see Barry's pad in Skyfall. After all, the film seems to be going all out with its UK locations, from Whitehall to the tube to Bond's ancestral home. I have a feeling that Mendes will overload Skyfall with subtle easter eggs, ie. photos of prominent crew members, little nods to previous adventures, etc. Nothing like the OHMSS montage though, of course.

A love scene set to a very slow rendition of the 007 theme would be great.

I've wanted to see it for years, before the reboot. I've always imagined it as Bond is walking into a casino. Sorta in the spirit of Bond: back on the prowl.

They should also pay tribute to Barry by putting together a top-notch score...
