What car would you like Bond to drive in Bond 24?

I think the Bently should return. Now that the Aston Martin blew up and EON's deal with Ford expired, it's time to move on from that brand.

Jeffrey Deaver's one positive contribution to Bondom was his inclusion of a Bentley Continental GT.

I Read recently he driving An Aston Martin Again.
Could be Any V8/V12 Vantage model,DB9,new Vanquish or the limo Rapide

The baby Aston - the V12 Vantage is a nice compromise in these times of austerity ^^.

The Bentley Continental would also be a good choice and has the 'high speed tank' like presence that could work well in an action scenario.

It may be a bit obvious but its almost as pretty as an Aston....

You surprised to know Bond is driving an new Aston Martin DB10 to replace his 2 previous Aston Martins, the classic DB5 which blew up in Skyfall& the later model now deceased DBS (2006)that loss it door in Quantum of Solace. I hope it will have gadgets so doesn't get wreaked like the other 2.

There have been some interesting reactions to the DB10 from car fans who are non-Bond fans. It's quite polarising, with the front-end styling in particular drawing criticism for being outdated and unimaginative. The general consensus is that it's a move away from the sportier models, like the DB9 and Vantage.

I don't find it as striking or beautiful as the DB9, in many ways its more Ferrari 599ish than traditional Aston.....it's somehow lacking that British sense of design.

The cancelled Jaguar C-X75 project - a hybrid developed by Jaguar and Formula 1 team Williams - will reportedly feature in SPECTRE as a villain's car:

I'd love to see the DBS from OHMSS make a return as Bond's private car, now his DB5 has been blown up.....

Slightly OT but I never interpreted the DB5 exploding in SF to be the end of the car in the series…

But I do love the 69 DBS Jet Set.

Mmm ... I kinda thought the point was being made that while they wouldn't have dreamed of NOT having the DB5 in the 50th anniversary movie, the franchise also needs to move on into the future (though thankfully still with Astons, not bloody BMWs).

That's how I always took it as well. Bringing back the DB5 would kind of diminish how special it is. When it was brought back in SF, it made sense for the 50th anniversary. Any other time would feel like unnecessary fan service.

I don't know. I guess because it popped up in TB refitted with a passenger seat and hydro pumps, then again later in GE, TND (albeit briefly) and CR that it seems as though in a few films time it will make a reappearance. From YOLT through to LTK there was no DB5 - even in films like TSWLM, FYEO and TLD which many believe are the best in that period.

This discussion reminded me of Bond's wisecrack about the Lotus in this scene.
