In honor of the passing of Herbert Lom, RIP-
The two roles I remember him most for:
Chief Inspector Dreyfus(of course)
and as the 11th century Islamonazi villain in Samuel Bronston's 1961 epic historical masterpiece El Cid:

Herbert Lom!!! A screen legend. The Panther work is his legacy of course.
He also did some great work in The Man From Uncle two-parter, The Five Daughers Affair, 1967, which also featured future Bond villains Curd Jurgens and Telly Savalas.
Born 1917, the same year as JFK, but Lom lived to age 95. Wow!

Probably the best print I've seen yet of this Peter Hunt-directed film that's now in the public domain.

I don't know why Siegel played down his abilities so often. Look at the quote accompanying his profile on Mubi for another example:
Quote :
“Most of my pictures, I’m sorry to say, are about nothing. Because I’m a whore. I work for money. It’s the American way.”
Siegel was a great director who made important films for 30 years. It pains me that he's not better known.

Caroline "Naomi" Munro in her unforgettable role of Stella Star in this Italian cult sci-fi epic:
My favorite line: "What in the universe is that?"
Scored by John Barry the same year he scored MR.

Nice job linking the Helm movies PKK. I've got them on dvd, but this way others can enjoy the adventures of Dino's Bond-spoof knock-offs.
Deadlier Than The Male btw is playing here on the big-screen for one showing as part of the Beyond Bond series, coincident with the Barbican Designing Bond show.
I've got the date circled.

I'm jealous. Enjoy seeing Elke and OHMSS' Virginia North on the big screen. And don't forget to post your review.

Seriously, these people are nothing but godless savages....look at what society has reduced itself to: tearing each other apart for $2 dollar phones?

Almost just as sickening that the store does little to control it. Like they feed off the chaos.

RIP, Mr. Hagman. In honor of his memory, some of my favorite IDOJ episodes:
Roger gains power of the bottle and becomes Jeannie's new master:
With guest star Gila Golan(from the Bond spoof Our Man Flint):
My favorite episode that occurs after Jeannine becomes Mrs. Tony Nelson:
