| Well..... Let's see what happens. TV has become the place of good writing and storytelling, at least in the US. |

| I mean, on the one hand Kubrick left so much material behind that its just sorta like "follow the blueprint", but then I am also wondering how you get the scope and the feel in a TV setting. I am dreading thibgs like mass CG armies and such that are inevitable. I mean, its a big undertaking and I could easily see it being done half-assed and becoming "just another Napoleon miniseries" |

| True dat. Scope is TV's weakness. On the other hand, if the story being told is compelling...
It's sorta why I'll always prefer TV Trek to Movie Trek, because even if the space battles are pretty limited, the stories being told are much better. Depending the series. |

| Kubrick's script for NAPOLEON is great, so they better stick pretty close to it. |

| I mean its a movie where all the conceptual pre-production is done. You've just gotta sit down and DO it.
So of course they'll find some way to frak it up. |

That's exactly what I'm fearing. |

So of course they'll find some way to frak it up. He should have a female ninja sidekick with gurl power and an unusually smart dog. |

| They don't have a young Jack Nicholson to cast as Napoleon. So who do they cast? |
