JEEEEEEEEZ....I used to hear this on an old (mid 80ss?) tv ad for brylcreem and loved the music but had no idea who did it and it's been solved on Day 1 of this thread.
Thanks Sharkie.
Here's the ad....been almost 25 years...I was still a brat at the time...

Moby's Porcelain, a toke and a vibrator for those fleeting moments of solitude on campus....

Can think of dozens of better Moby slowies/chillouts than Porcelain. Look up jltf and his cover of Temptation for starters.

But I didn't have those when I had my vibrator...I made do with what's on the music telly.... :bball:
Digressing...so AoN sired the original MIL? I'll be sampling some of these remixes, especially any modern ones as they breathe new life into classic 80s music....

That's the one. AoN probably earnt more from the songwriting credit on Firestarter than from any of their own efforts.

Just wondering whether Dog's Brylcreem is by AoN; it's certainly running too slow. Then again, there are so many remixes of Moments In Love that I've lost count of them and I used to be fanatical about ZTT prior to their persecution of Propaganda.
Art of Noise moved to China Records, a label I had a passing involvement with. General disagreement about whether Camilla or Robinson Crusoe was their best chillout track for China, but I reckon Camilla. Elka Synthex pad is by Anne Dudley.
FWIW, I think Camilla much better than Moments In Love, but no denying Moments' importance and influence.
It's their Love Beat mix of the song. Starts at around 0:30
