Bringing Back Gravity

Let's face it. For all his flaws, Gravity's Silhouette was the life of the (tea) party. Sure, he often came at loggerheads with Wade and 6of1 hates his guts, but that's a small price to pay for keeping such a prolific poster here. For a good or bad, he's stirred discussion (I'll never forget that shitload of thread polls he made for favourite Bond films, scores, sets etc. when he first joined) and even his rants were laced with a sense of humour.

I have Michael Kersey's (Gravity's real name) email address. I can contact him and try and reach a deal. It won't be easy, since from his last post I got the impression that he's disillusioned with forums. If it means me resigning as a mod, so be it. If I have to sacrifice my powers to the greater good, I'll do it with no caveats.

Dog Bond got on well with him - maybe she can help me out.

Have all the other mods gone into a vegetative state?

You always said that if it was more carefully moderated, then it could be reinstated. I have to agree. I'm willing to let members have a play pen if means quality posts from them in other sections of the board. For most of us that play pen is the raunchy humour and wank material found in the Penthouse Suite, but I guess others need a space for their daily Obama bashing.

As long as it doesn't devolve into Stormfront territory as it did several times before:

• If you're anti-racist - therefore you're anti-white.
