Well if he does retire it seems a suitably manic film to end on and reminiscent of my personal favourite of his 'The Armour of God', certainly I hope it is more akin to his early film output than the more formulaic stuff of late.

Ah, maybe the retirement announcement is what prompted that 'Jackie Chan has died filming a stunt that went wrong' hoax that was doing the rounds of the 'net recently.
