Dying of the Light (2014) - Directed by Paul Schrader

This was directed by Schrader, produced by Nicolas Winding Refn and distributed by Lionsgate.

Nic Cage plays a CIA agent with dementia who is tracking down a Bin Laden-esque terrorist figure.

Apparently, this film was so fucked up in post that Schrader is currently advising audiences to not watch the movie:

Seems like an interesting mess, especially considering the names attached.

One day someone will write an interesting history of how the Hollywood machine took its greatest talents and either threw them on the scrapheap or fed them into a Magimix. The account might have to wait until they're all dead, though.
