Unless I one day get a 4K projector, I really don't see myself getting into this format, great as it may be. DVDs still outsell blu-ray titles to this day, so I don't even see how well this format will do outside of being something for aficionados like LaserDisc was, especially when streaming is becoming more embraced by the public. At least the option of getting a hard copy will be there, and maybe if it's very very cheap in the future I'll buy a few titles. As of now, I'm very content with blu-ray. |

| I guess this is nice if you have your own theater in your house.
I don't have one of those, unfortunately, so I don't think I'll be needing "Ultra HD Blu-Rays" any time soon. |

| Yeah, this seems like a niche product. The super-rich with home theaters and those relying on Blu-Rays for screenings will utilize it.
I wouldn't have any use for it. |

| Blu-Ray and 70' telly is fine for me.
Maybe when I get a bigger allowance from Mr. Dog. |

| It's kind of amazing how the line is being blurred between theaters and home viewing. I was thinking the other day about how well THE INTERVIEW did on online sales, and how studios may look to that as the future of releasing new high profile movies, thus phasing out theatrical releases. By the time I'm an octogenarian, will it get to a point where I'm telling children about how seeing a new movie meant you had to get out of your house, go to this building with hundreds of people and watch it together? It's like today how you would tell a child about how photographs were taken before digital photography. Will theaters be something of a niche when I'm old?
After THE INTERVIEW, I really think that's where we're heading. Studios will look to that and find ways of improving VOD, so they no longer have to worry about physically distributing them to a bunch of theaters when they could easily sell them directly to one's home and get more profit. It might be awhile, because Hollywood is such a conservative town when it comes to something as radical a change, plus so many other obstacles. |

| I still use VHS and DVDs.
People should pay admission to gaze upon historical relics such as myself. |

| There are some films that should only be available on VHS.
BODY DOUBLE, DEBBIE DOES DALLAS and CZECH STREETS IV, to name a few. |
