| Hi all. So, I had all these remastered CDs done by Lukas Kendall from Film Score Monthly but lost them in a move in 2014. Went to amazon to replace them and found that I could buy all except for Thunderball and YOLT. Those two titles have skyrocketed in price/value. But continue with the thread and you'll see my adventures in finding these expensive remastered titles.

| I read about this on FSM's forums a while back.
They didn't seem to have a specific answer, other than it's been 12 years and we can expect things like this to happen. If you look around on eBay or Amazon Canada, you may be able to find it cheaper.

| Wish they could redo the soundtracks with the cues in chronological order, instead of the "bonus tracks" thing. |

Nope. Against the rules. Soundtracks cannot list tracks in order as it mirrors the motion picture. Completely batshit crazy but that's life. If you type in Google "track order for...." people have taken the time to figure out the true track order. Unfortunately, you have to split some tracks as say the gun barrel sequence is coupled with other tracks. There's usually enough of a gap at the end of the tracks to do this seamlessly. Here's a good page that has some CDs put in sequence: http://www.johnbarry.org.uk/expanded.php Yes. I noticed one TB remastered on ebayUK just sold for only 18 pounds. I guess I'm gonna have to bite the bullet (pun intended)

| Just snagged a copy for £11.99 on Zoverstock.com's site. Guess there's no big deal on these in Bond's homeland? Now it would appear that YOLT remastered edition from 2003 is the next one on the hit list coming in at around $34.....Damn, I really can't believe I bought mine new for $9.99 and now THIS! |

Yes. I noticed one TB remastered on ebayUK just sold for only 18 pounds. I guess I'm gonna have to bite the bullet (pun intended) Someone at the old MI6 put together a guide on how to order the sound tracks in chronological order. He had the exact times of when to cut a piece or add it in, how to merge them together. It was pretty amazing. Unfortunately, it got wiped out with the old boards. I wish someone had thought to save it. It was a pretty well detailed, handy guide for Bond soundtrack buffs. |

| That was one of the many great posts that we lost. Must've taken vmsns many hours to compile that guide.
Yet the administrators at Mi6 still couldn't figure out why long-time members were pissed about the site being shut down, wiped and totally revamped. |

| "Hey, you get to upload avatars now!"
I've largely gotten over that a long time ago, but some of that such as the research done by vmsns still stings. |

| I remember when the remastered CDs came out and I was on Film Score Monthly's site. Lukas Kendall did the remastering and he owns FSM. Well, there's lots to be found there, maybe not as detailed as you have mentioned. But be forewarned. Those people for the most part over there were not nice to me. Some would call them snobs. I call them pricks and will never go back there. Guess you have to like more than James Bond and Batman music over there. |

| So now, I have aquired the remastered YOLT. It wasn't as expensive as TB but still a long way from the original $14.99. I find if you wait long enough on Amazon you can get the more expensive ones for about double of what they cost new. YOLT was $33. The next one listed is at $42 and then they march right on up to like $179 or some such nonsense. I still can't believe I had all of them and then lost them. I think the next one to go after is DAF. Not expensive at all from what I've seen. I think there's only one more that's really expensive and it's Never Say Never Again. Of course, it's not part of the EON films, but I love the music. |

| DAF's soundtrack is one of the greatest IMO. The Whyte House and On the Road are fantastic. |

I agree. And Mr. Wint and Mr. Kidd's cues are absolutely haunting. That Barry really knew his way around music. |
