Dalton McGuinty is resigning as Ontario Premier. My MPP is one of the people running to succeed him.

Also Obama got reelected so Canada being a US puppet state is okay still.

Shame tiff's not around still, would like to have heard his take on the 'conservative' Mayor of Toronto Rob Ford's recent behaviour which includes confessing to smoking both weed and crack, drunk-driving, being videoed making a drunken violence-threatening rant, using racist terminology and telling an assembled press pack that he hadn't told a female staffer that he wanted to eat her pussy.

We've been loving the Ford stuff out here in the west. In reality, it's a shame and terribly irresponsible of all involved. As entertainment, it's nice to see all the Chris Farley tributes going around again.
