Sir Sean Connery turns 87

Not a bad effort, and counting.

Indeed. Wonder how he's doing, you don't hear much nowadays.

He was seen walking about in New York in May, so I take it he isn't too bad. As far as I knew he was living in Spain, so if he is still travelling around, he can't be ill. 

And of course, his statement regarding Sir Roger's passing was the last public statement as far as I know.

Although her expression would suggest she's not that happy about it.

He seems to be doing well, with the Bond theme roaring at the US open when they announced his presence. And he laughed about it - he seems to have mellowed quite a lot.

Nice. Shame there doesn't seem to be a video of said event, but glad Shir Sean had a shmashing time at the tennish.

If I asked Connery to wish me a Happy Birthday, he'd probably scowl and expect to be paid for it.

The Daily Mail are beyond fixated on women and not always in a good way.

I always recall a Newspaper article from the 70's, when I was big into Hammer Horror, saying how ill Peter Cushing was looking and using a picture of from the set of 'Tales from the Crypt' as some sort of proof - neglecting to point out that he was actually playing someone returning from the dead...
