I wasn't mad on the idea of a new Rambo, the last one for all its action had a nice ending to it but yes, I'm there.

Yeah, just didn't think that Rambo made it past the 80s. I admit I've only seen the first back when I was a kid and only snippets of 2 and 3.

First Blood is the absolute best. Though it's III(?) that has Berkoff in fantastic ham-mode.

I was hoping Schoolboy from Rambo 4 would return, he was great Rambo-support with his merc artillery and earned Rambo's respect....but maybe the 10 yr gap between films was too much.
I'm not sure if this film will have the Rambo theme either...sounded a bit westerny....

The ravages of time? His plastic surgeon? Whoever encouraged him to make Expendables 3 12A/PG-13?
The possibilities are endless!

First Blood is a great film. 2 and 3 were like moronic cartoons which made my later discovery of the original shocking and amazing. The original novel is even darker and I did appreciate the fourth film trying to get back to that tone despite going into laugh inducing overload with the CG carnage.
If this film can find the right balance and have a story to add depth like the modern rebirth of the Rocky series-then it should be excellent. However I don't have many expectations so even a decent film would be a nice surprise.
