Corgi: James Bond Returns

Corgi and Bond have more or less gone together since 1964 and usually seem to update themselves every so often and so NTTD has prompted this. If you look towards bottom of the link there's about half a dozen or so new releases coming soon.

looks like the Vantage is not only rebranded as the No Time To Die Vantage but sans skis like the regular TLD one. You have yourselves Little Nellie/TSWLM Lotus/Moonraker shuttle as a collection, the DB5/DBS/Vanquish as a collection and differing DB5's (Casino Royale, NTTD and the gold one from 1964).

The NTTD DB5 has an Italian number plate, it looks like the doors open and there's what looks like a tiny gap around the headlights ... maybe they've included the pop-out machine guns?

Interesting I didn't pay that much attention to the DB5. I guess that could be an option, nice one if so. Wonder if it includes the GF bullet screen at rear?

Trouble is, even pre-lockdown there are very few places I know that sell these. When I was little we had Beatties.

The skis might be on the NTTD Vantage, Hilly. If you zoom in it looks as though they might be there.

Yes, thought I could just about spot the black 'n' yellow 'hazard' markings on the skis under the Vantage's doors. The skis on the version I have are unmarked, boo.

Damn, strikes me as a touch lazy as in NTTD the Vantage might well just be used as a regular joe car and nothing flash. That being said, just a rebrand I suppose.

You could well be right ... if the trailer's anything to go by, Bond's 'gadgety' car in NTTD will be the DB5.

I wonder if perhaps there was some kind of mix up with the photos. Perhaps they intend to release the TLD and NTTD versions and lazily used the same photo for both listings. It would be a rather poor decision to release the winterised Vantage as the NTTD version if those gadgets won't feature.

It's entirely possible that it's been a poor decision and are plain lazy in photos. Corgi have done the DB5 for yonks so they can in theory get away with same photos but the Vantage isn't a common model for them. In the trailer the Vantage looks a different colour to TLD, almost black whereas the TLD Vantage had a grey-brown to it. Or might be my eyes.
