Saracen

Anybody remember this? I have got it on DVD and it was a very solid, enjoyable adventure show not totally unlike The Professionals, but this time, it was about a private security firm in the UK who specialized in highly risky protect, search and rescue missions. Christian Burgess played Barber, a hardened ex-SAS Major and Patrick James Clarke was his American sidekick Duffy, ex-US Delta Force.

One episode (Starcross) had to be postponed because it was about Barber's past fighting the IRA and that week, there had been a bombing at a barracks in London. Also, the final episode was shown later than usual because of its dark subject matter, involving a deranged assassin and his abduction of Barber's son. Here it is.
