Lufthansa Announcer

Watched DAF Saturday night and noticed that the Lufthansa announcer's voice (viz the sequence where Mr. Kidd tells Mr. Wint that Tiffany looks quite attractive, "for a girl") sounds for all the world just like Emily Bolton's (Manuela in MR). That sexy, breathy voice is unmistakable. I wonder if that could have been Bolton? She was 20 in 1971.

I confess I've never really picked up on the announcer. I had a look at IMDB and her first credit was 1973. Curious now. Intend on looking at DAF for the 50th at some point anyway.

Ms Bolton's not acted since 1992, she's an agent now apparently.

IMDB don't appear to list an announcer for the Lufthansa scene.

I guess we'll never know.

Shame really. There could be this woman somewhere whose claim to fame is being an airliner announcer in a Bond film :)
