| Day 1: More business as usual and embrace the James Bond DNA. Enough with pandering to loud minority groups who the series wasn't made for.

This, in a nutshell. Also, more bourbon and scrambled eggs as a nod to Fleming's Bond. Don't know why that came to mind, I must be hungry/thirsty. |

| Day 1- to quote David Tomlinson loosely, charisma, a touch of class, flair -nothing complicated. A serious Bond but not a mortuary. |

| Yup to all the above. In reference to more Fleming, I'd quite like to see May pop up in a scene or two, even in a recurring capacity. |

| Day 2. In an ideal world Fassbender as he fits an image of Bond and could do a good job outside of the action roles.
Otherwise I have no idea. Not Tom Hardy, I know that much. |

| Day 2: Fassbender, without question. He has the chops, has a virtually perfect ethnic background (German/Irish instead of Swiss/Scottish is about as close as it gets) for the role, the right build, a sense of danger and sexual energy about him, and well, this: Need I say more? If not, Henry Cavill. Day 3- Cast/Director/Theme Tune Artist: Michael Fassbender [Bond] Stellan Skaarsgard [Villain] Martina Stella [Main Bond girl] Roxanne McKee [Secondary Bond girl] Someone physically striking and unknown [Henchman] Unsure of an actor. If it's recast as a woman, Charlotte Rampling might be good. [M] Timothy Spall [Q] Rose Leslie [Moneypenny] Matthew Goode [Tanner] Joe Wright [Director] Dua Lipa [Theme Song Artist] |

| I'm not all that good with modern day fantasy cast's but when in Rome...
007- Das Fassbender Bond Girl 1- Rachael Sterling Bond Girl 2- (our sacrificial lamb) Felicity Jones M- Fiennes (I for some reason would also suggest Anna Chancellor) Q- Michael Palin or Hugh Bonneville Villain- Ciaran Hinds Hench(persons)- Vincent Cassel or Thiery Godard, Mia Jolovich CIA help- Claire Danes
Sam Mendes directing
Music Alberto Iglesias (instrumental main titles) |

| 1. For the films to actually be themselves again, connect with audiences and actually matter. 2. Jason Issacs. Age be darned. Fassbender would be a solid choice as he has the range. Overall it must be someone with EXPERIENCE. 3. It depends on the story angle. It needs some really heavy hitters and the villain should be a choice of actor that means serious business and swinging for the fences. Director: (You'll need the best man we've got. And whom do you suggest?) Me. Title song: I have many suggestions of both should have already done it and artists who should return-but more important is finding a great composer to write the best score we've had in decades and crafting the title song with the artist to make a proper theme woven into the entire score. My ultimate choice for title song would be a proper instrumental. Title song if instrumental proved unworkable: The Who or Depeche Mode. Returning candidates: Duran Duran, Garbage, Sir Paul, The Pretenders and if Dame Shirley wants to just make it an even four before retiring fully why not? |

| Isaacs would've made a fine Bond. Certainly has looks close to that original idea of Bond.
Day 4. Surprisingly not read any so it's a toss-up between Roger Moore's LALD Diary and the DK cross-section book I got years ago. |

| The Disco Volante is not properly depicted. The illustrator seemed to forget that it was supposed to be in two parts. |

| Day 5. I imagine watching films with my parents. Bits of Thunderball are the earliest I can recall imprinted on my memory, Lazenby creeping up the stairs in OHMSS to spy on the girls in Piz Gloria and then finally, Octopussy as one I recall all the way through.
Rest sorts of falls into place. |

| 5th - watching the films via telly screenings when my Bond fan father decided I'd reached the appropriate age. |

| My elder brother was a fan - until Connery quit the first time. A girl I was sweet on in school was a fan, so I decided to go downtown in Dec 71 and give this 'Diamonds Are Forever' a look. |

| Day 6. I couldn't say, the Bourne films seemed to do something for the Craig era. Star Wars did of course for '79.
I pine for a Bond not influenced by outside forces but rather...the influencer. |

| 5. LALD as my first remembered video rental choice at age 4 or 5. That was it and the die was cast. I think I had seen my parents have TSWLM on TV at some point because I remember being stunned a car was underwater after getting out of bed late one night. 6. There's quite a lot overall from Fleming influences to Hitchcock and other spy precedents. For the series particularly it's Young, Maibaum, Cubby, Harry, Hamilton, Hunt. Young set the tone, Hunt made it pulse, Hamilton enriched it, Harry was the wild spark, Cubby was the steady hand on the tiller and Maibaum was the brain that made it work. You could make the case for more or any of the classic team. Ted Moore, Ken Adam and so many more true talents and unsung heroes belong in this category. |

| 6th - in terms of other popular culture trends/hits ... blaxploitation (LALD), martial arts (TMWTGG), Jaws (TSWLM), Star Wars (MR), Indiana Jones (OP and arguably Daylights), Miami Vice and the like (LTK). |

| Day 4: The Essential Bond by Lee Pfeiffer. Was my go-to book for a very long time. However, Some Kind of Hero is an invaluable resource for behind the scenes Bond info which I also enjoy immensely. Day 5: Tomorrow Never Dies. Day 6: Young. From casting and shaping Connery, to setting the tone and introducing us to the world of Bond, he is the man who's legacy truly lived up until 2002 (and resurrected in 2012). Now? Probably Bourne and Alyssa Milano. Day 7: - Women - Travelogue - Integration of Cold War politics - Production design - Humour - Snobbery - Ski Action Day 8: Massa Carrara. Stumbled across it by chance when I was in Italy a few years back and thought it looked familiar- it's from the Quantum of Solace car chase. It's a 3 hour drive from Lake Garda, where the start of the chase begins but the trickery that film making is makes it seem like it's all in one place. |

| 8 - St. Mark's Square, Venice (visited on a family holiday in the mid-80s). As seen in Moonraker and Casino Royale. |

| Day 7 would be music and locations I guess. Imagine watching the first few when airline travel, though coming along nicely, was still not for everyone and these films were passports to a world beyond.
Day 8- I won't post a photo but I've done London locations, not having gone overseas. Piz Gloria would be the one I'd like to see the most. Otherwise, the quiet class of the College of Arms is as good as it gets right now. |
