Vangelis' THE BOUNTY was a big part of helping me do a particular spec script, but traditionally most of my inspiration for writing comes from Goldsmith, and to a lesser degree with Williams and Bernstein and Basil P's IRON EAGLE and Rubinstein's BLUE THUNDER.

I must confess i am not familiar with The Bounty. The Sisters of Mercy had some good instrumentals. Such as this one:
If not for the drum machine, it could almost be a western theme.

Live instrumental from Swans ten years ago.
I have seen them twice, in 1988 and 1997. The 88 show was one of the best I have ever been to.
