| I think I'm too far north to be affected really which is just as well. Sad to hear of a few deaths related to the 80 mph winds. |

| The bins got knocked over.
That's about it. Looks like all the action would've been in Pompey. |

I'm from there too! Not to worry you General, but the only 'Kremlin' I've heard of round these parts is a gay nightclub . |

Oh, I know - Kremlin Associates - I see it stamped on fivers at work sometimes. I may change my location details to something more appropriate, in view of that fact. I'm actually a country boy, not a Belfasti. |

| Walked over to Vicky Park this morning. Lots of branches down, but only one tree uprooted - a dead oak near the tennis courts.
Bit of an anticlimax, TBH. Was expecting something similar to the '87. Hurricane. |

| Still time for the 1987 Storm to be repeated. Though theory is we'll get heavy snow this year. Daily Express is rather fixated on the weather when it's not Diana. |

| Hope it's actually in December time round. For the last couple of years it's been the odd day or two in February. |

Recall that the heavy snowfalls of November/December first in 2009 then 2010 were probably the most snow I ever saw fall in my life. Having grown up on stories of the Great 1963 Snowfall and hearing of winters of old with towering snowdrifts. If I could avoid travelling into work I won't complain. Might actually be able to watch some Bonds at last. |

| Finally got some rain in Southern California. I'm not much of a sunny guy, prefer overcasts. |

Yes ... Diana, weather doom 'n' gloom, and 'OMGZ! IMMIGRANTS!!!'. Never were truer words spoken about that rag that calls itself a "newspaper"! |
