Google Music Beta

Anyone interested on trying it out? First come, first serve.

It's an interesting concept and I like the idea that I'll be able to access my music anywhere I go. Only thing is that I never use my phone for listening to music and never plan to. Sounds almost as bad as watching a movie on a phone.

However, it might free up some disk space for me.

You also get a load of free songs after signing up. I selected the jazz, classical, and easy listening genres, and they gave me some (surprisingly) decent music. Not the kind of cheap shit that will come in samples in your Windows Music library.

Definitely sounds like something I need, what with me having music spread across three different computers, currently....

You get to store 20,000 songs, at up to 250MB a song.

Ah crap, it's only available in the U.S. right now.

Started using this yesterday. It's actual a great tool for someone who has thousands of songs. Now I can keep my files backed up on my external hardrive and remove the songs from my pc. That will save so much space.
