Warning him will be useless. Any poster willing to openly defy, mock, and insult the moderators won't be shamed into correcting his behavior. He's not, nor has he ever, come into these forums to discuss James Bond. 99% of his posts have been about what a bunch of sad-sacks we are, and how CBn and MI6 were/are so much better.
There's nothing to discuss here. You act as if its basically just a misunderstanding and that there is common-ground to find. There is none. He'll keep this up until he is suspended/banned/deleted, and how many posters/potential posters will we lose because they saw his vicious attacks and opted not to set themselves up for that kind of reprisal?

Of course he's going to keep doing what he's doing if he isn't at least warned and told that what he's doing isn't OK.
I still say it's fair to give him a warning, then, on his first offense after, give him the boot.

How many warnings have you needed, Jack, in order to NOT make fun of people with Aspergers Syndrome? Or calling someone a pathetic attention seeker who did nothing but link to a YouTube clip of the Imax Skyfall trailer?
I mean, some things are generally taken as common sense and don't require a warning. I wouldn't have thought someone as intelligent as RobDudley needed someone to tell him it's not cool to mock someone's Aspergers Syndrome, but maybe I'm just old-fashioned.

Doubt he'll listen to any of the mods, since he holds us in contempt.

Then we need outside help. A silent partner...a watchful guardian...someone...who can do our work for us.

One warning would suffice. I agree that those things aren't cool but it just seems a bit unfair to go straight to banning.

Precisely. And he's held us in contempt before there was any reason to hold us in contempt. He came here angry, bitter and vindictive and nothing has changed.

I publicly warned him when he made fun of PM's AS, and he just found another person to pick on.

As a mod here, I currently don't have the facility to give out warnings, suspensions or any of that jazz, and to be honest, nor do I want to. But I do want to get this across to Rob Dudley, very loud and clear.
Since you've joined Bond and Beyond, you've sought out certain outspoken members you don't like (namely Gravity's Silhouette and Prisoner Monkeys), and like a lamprey you've latched onto them, attacked them every now and then, and in the process, stinking up this board with an unpleasant odour. A sort of resident shit stirrer. But why, pray tell? You want to change a leopard's spots? "Correct" Gravity and Shadow's and behavior and personality though some kind of twisted insult therapy? Get a fucking grip, sunshine.
It's a shame though, because I haven't got much against your non-bitching posts. You skepticism fits in well here, and you could very earn back some respect by returning to that course. You could do all of us including yourself, a massive favour.
I'm not going to force an apology out of you. I'll let you do that in your own time, assuming you have any kind of moral backbone.
So please, drop it. If not, Stingray and his meat hook's waiting for you.

:lol!:
I think we've been eating, sleeping, drinking, and breathing Batman lately. After seeing it Friday I literally felt like summer was officially over and that we could now really start getting pumped and excited and focused on SKYFALL. TDKR has been sucking all the oxygen out of the room lately.
Anyway, I played The Dark Knight with JWild; it's somebody else's turn to dress up and remove the villainous Rob Dudley from our midst.

I've just become the latest veteran member to be banned from CBn after 10 and a half years on there as a member by none other than Dustin the Turkey. Sweet Caroline!
I guess BAB is my new home, then.
