| And before anyone criticizes Clifton James for being on the list, just remember that it's not for us to judge whether the role irritated us or not, but whether the actor/actress competently portrayed the role as written and directed. Clifton James was a Northerner with a strong Bronx-ish accent. He was not a Southerner. He had to work really hard at portraying a loud, uncouth, ignorant, hill-billy redneck from the swamps of Louisiana. |

| Never knew J.W. was a Yankee!
Anyway, I vote for Shaw, Robert Shaw. |

| Armendariz isn't just gold, he is platinum.
Would have to put Shaw right behind him, though. |

| What the heck, Malik also. Give the old Oxford boy a chance perhaps. |

| Clifton James' nomination amuses me, but I support it. I pick Robert Shaw. |
